For over 20 years I have worked as an independent consultant working with educators to help develop and strengthen programs in studio art. Topics for these workshops have included: Designing Vertical Teams in Studio Art Courses; Lessons To Help Develop Student Creativity; and Assisting Students In Developing Both Inquiry-Based and Thematically-Based Work.

During this time I have also worked as a workshop consultant for the College Board's AP Art and Design Program. I have presented nationally and internationally at One-day College Board Workshops and at the College Board endorsed AP Summer Institutes with the intended goals of helping educators initiate, develop, and sustain classes in AP 2-D Art and Design, AP 3-D Art and Design, and AP Drawing.

I have also served as an independent tutor assisting students with portfolio development intended for magnet school auditions and college entrance.
